Currently, DSH WINES experiences are focused primarily on two of Chile’s most iconic central valleys, starting with the legendary Casablanca Valley. Situated on the coastal plain of Chile’s Valparaiso Region, the Casablanca Valley is subdivided into smaller valleys that house the many wineries and vineyards that together form the Casablanca Wine Trail. The region is famous for producing some of the finest examples of Chilean whites such as Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc, and also for certain red varieties like Pinot Noir and Syrah. It’s also an area well known for its rich local cuisine.
The second valley that’s central to DSH WINES experiences is the Maipo Valley, the most historical valley in Chilean winemaking. The Maipo Valley is located just a few kilometers south of Santiago, and its singular topography allows for the cultivation of numerous highly prized varieties at different altitudes, including Carmenere, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and others.
